Handmade wooden box of walnut with spalted elm by BurlWoodBox. This wood box has a tray that lifts out.
This smaller box with a tray makes a great gift. They can be used for personal items or on your desk for some of your smaller "stuff". Also makes a nice small jewelry box.
Nice box for either a guy or a girl. Rich walnut is complimented by the spalted elm.
Spalting is a stain left by a long deceased fungus that infiltrated the maple.
The overall size of this box is approx. 6" x 4" x 2 5/8" (outside dimensions)
5.25" x 3.25" x 1.75" deep ( approx. inside dimensions)
(5.0" length below tray as there is a wood riser to hold the tray up)
As always no stains or dyes used. Hand-rubbed tung oil finish with polyurethane in the undercoats for better sealing properties.
Box is lined with brown rayon flocking...ground felt.
We can personalize this box for you with a laser engraving on the inner lid for an additional charge of $12.99.
