Spalted Elm and Mahogany Two Drawer Handmade Wooden Jewelry Box by BurlWoodBox - Unique Gift !
A nice, small two drawer jewelry box of sapele mahogany highlighted with spalted elm. One of a kind for sure :)
This box is cut from a single-solid block of wood. The elm is NOT veneer. It is a slice approx. 3/16" thick.
This is a great wood combination ! It will compliment almost any decor as it has both light and dark wood tones.
The exterior dimensions are
10 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 2 5/8"
Both of the drawers are open, meaning no compartments.
As always,no stains or dyes. Finished with hand-rubbed tung oil with a hint of polyurethane in the undercoats. Many, many coats and days are required for this finish.
The knobs are brass covered with hammered black paint.
The drawers and the box cavity are lined with brown suede-tex., a blown in ground rayon fiber that sticks to a painted adhesive.
We can personalize this box for you with a laser engraving for an additional charge of $10.00. We suggest the back of the box for the engraving.
