A handmade small wooden box of cherry with a laser engraved crescent moon and stars by BurlWoodBox.

This wood box can be used as a small wood jewelry box, a gift presentation box or a keepsake box for small special treasures or keepsakes. These small boxes also make a great gift for any occasion.

A small half moon face or crescent moon and stars is laser engraved onto the top of this small cherry box. The box is engraved before the finish is applied so that the box is totally sealed hence when the picture was taken there is some glare on the inside of the engraving. It looks fine in person.

Box is lined with wine rayon flocking to compliment the lighter cherry.

Brass hinges.

As usual, undercoats are polyurethane with seal and finish coats being tung oil. Many coats are required to produce this finish on our boxes.
