A small half moon face and stars is laser engraved onto the top of this small handmade mahogany box. The box is engraved before the finish is applied so that the box is totally sealed. This crescent moon box will make an excellent gift ! Can be used as a presentation box or for storage of small treasures, keepsakes or jewelry.
4.0" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" ( approx. exterior dimensions )
3.5" x 1 3/8" x 3/4 " depth ( approx. interior dimensions )
Brass hinges.
Box is lined with wine rayon flocking to compliment the lighter mahogany.
As usual, undercoats are polyurethane with seal and finish coats being tung oil. Many coats are required to produce this finish on our boxes.
