Handmade wood box of walnut with buckeye burl by BurlWoodBox, aka Al and Deb.
The overall outside dimensions are approx. 6 7/8' x 3 7/8" x 1 3/4" tall
Inside dimensions are approx. 6 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/8" deep.
This wooden box can be used as a jewelry box, on your desk or for whatever special treasures or trinkets you might like to stash in it.

This is one of our larger sized wood treasure boxes. Or maybe it is a smaller stash box?
We call them oyster boxes although they look nothing like an oyster. Why? Are they nuts?
This size box was originally designed for a good customer who makes custom oyster knives and wanted a beautiful presentation box. Hence the name Oyster Box.
As usual, no stains or dyes are used on the woods. Mother Nature creates the colors as well as the patterns.
Box is finished with many, many coats of hand-rubbed tung oil with a hint of polyurethane in the undercoats for better sealing properties.
This box is lined with brown rayon flocking that is blown in after painting on the matching adhesive.
Every nook and cranny is filled with lining.
We can personalize this box for you with a laser engraving for an additional charge of $10.00. We suggest the inner lid.

This is a lovely keepsake box. Very well made with a soft material lining the inside. My husband and I gave it to our granddaughter for her college graduation with something special inside. We were proud to give her such a special gift.
