Handmade small wood box of cherry with redwwod burl by BurlWoodBox.
This small wooden box can be a special gift box, a small jewelry box, or as storage for small special treasures or keepsakes.
Box is lined with wine rayon flocking to compliment the lighter cherry.
4.0" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" ( exterior dimensions )
3.5" x 13/8" x 3/4 " depth ( interior dimensions )
Brass hinges.
As usual, undercoats are polyurethane with seal and finish coats being tung oil. Many coats are required to produce this finish on our boxes.

Holy smokes is this a well made box. The joints are tight and the hinges don't have any play in them. One of the hardest things to make in woodworking are small boxes such as this because there is zero tolerance for error. BurlWoodBox is an exceptional craftsman. I highly recommend him.
