A fine handmade wooden pen box made of mahogany and accented with lacewood. Lacewood is highly reflective or chatoyant. It is related to oak and is also called silky oak. It hails from Australia and New Zealand.
Can be used for a special gift presentation box, small wood jewelry box, or for other special treasures.

This box is long enough inside for an un-sharpened pencil to get a better feeling of the size.
This box is finished with hand-rubbed tung oil with a bit of polyurethane in the undercoats for better sealing properties.
This box is lined with wine rayon fibers or flocking.
The hinges are brass.
We can personalize this box for you with a laser engraving for an additional charge of $12.99. We suggest the inner lud of the box for the engraving.
