Handmade small wooden box of Mahogany with a laser engraved lotus flower by BurlWoodBox.

This small wooden box can be a special gift box, a small jewelry box, or as storage for small special treasures or keepsakes.

4.0" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" ( approx. exterior dimensions )

3.5" x 1 3/8" x 3/4 " depth ( approx. interior dimensions )

A small lotus is laser engraved onto the top of this small mahogany box. The box is engraved before the finish is applied so that the box is totally sealed. The little glints of light in the pictures are the lens capturing the glints of the finish within the depth of the cut. Our human eyes cannot see this :)

Box is lined with wine rayon flocking to compliment the lighter mahogany.

Brass hinges.

As usual, undercoats are polyurethane with seal and finish coats being tung oil. Many coats are required to produce this finish on our boxes.
