Wooden pen or pencil box in walnut with an engraved lotus flower by BurlWoodBox. Small worm holes on the bottom of the box. They do not go thru the box bottom. See the last picture.
So 7 bucks off for a small hint of Mother Nature in action.
Great for presentation of a special small gift and then functional for many uses after. You can use it on your desk, for stashing special items or as a small jewelry box.
Outside dimensions are approx. 7.5" x 2 7/8" x 1 5/8"
Interior dimension are approx. 6.75" x 2.25" x 1.125" depth
Wide enough inside to hold an un-sharpened pencil or a delicate necklace or bracelet. Some smaller framed glasses also will fit inside.
We laser engrave before we finish the box so it is completely sealed. The glints of light you see in the flat views are not visible when you see the box in person.
Finished with hand-rubbed tung oil with a bit of polyurethane underneath for better sealing properties.
Lined with brown colored rayon flocking.
Hinges are brass.
