Handmade small, well tiny, wood box of walnut with spalted elm by BurlWoodBox.
This small wooden box is great as a gift presentation box, storage for a special keepsake or treasure. It will also hold a small box of matches, just the right size.
4.0" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" ( approx. exterior dimensions )
3.5" x 13/8" x 3/4 " depth ( approx. interior dimensions )
Box is lined with brown rayon flocking to compliment the darker walnut.
Brass hinges.
As usual, undercoats are polyurethane with seal and finish coats being tung oil. Many coats are required to produce this finish on our boxes.

Thank you for this beautifully crafted little box. We wanted something special to contain the locks of our beloved Irish Wolfhound, Oliver, who we lost last month, and this is very special indeed. The craftsmanship is lovely.
