Handmade wood treasure box of salvaged natural cherry with redwood burl by BurlWoodBox. It you look closely at the side views you can see the seam where we glued 2 pieces of cherry together. It does not effect the box in any way just makes it look different from our normal treasure boxes. No engraving add ons to this box as you can see the grains do not quite match up on the inner side of the lid.
This wooden box is perfect for special treasures, trinkets or keepsakes. Also can be used as a small jewelry box.
These small wooden boxes make the perfect gift.
Exterior dimensions are approx. : 6.0 x 3.5 x 1.65 inches
Interior dimensions are approx.: 5.25 x 2 5/8 x 1.1 inches
The box is finished with tung oil and polyurethane in the undercoats for better sealing properties.
Many, many coats are required to finish this piece.
Hinges are brass barrel hinges. This box is lined with brown colored rayon flocking.
