Handmade wooden treasure box of walnut with lacewood by BurlWoodBox.
Knot hole visible in the pictures.
Exterior dimensions are approx. 6.0 x 3.5 x 1.65 inches
Interior dimensions are approx. 5.25 x 25/8" x 1.1 inches
Lacewood is an oak relative that comes from Australia where it is known as Silky Oak. The walnut is from Indiana. The lacewood rays are very reflective which makes the wood glitter like a tiger eye stone when light hits it.
Finished with hand rubbed tung oil with a hint of polyurethane in the undercoats for better sealing properties.
This box is lined with brown rayon flocking.
